Head of Structured Gas Trading

In your role as the Head of Structured Gas Trading, you will be responsible for managing and expanding structured trading activities within Axpo Solutions. This includes managing the existing portfolio in CEE-SEE, coordinating trading activities with different international Axpo hubs, and building a storage and flex position throughout Europe.
**What you will do**

- Manage and motivate a team of traders (7-FTE) to develop the existing portfolio in CEE-SEE and expand into other areas
- Build up a storage, flex and option portfolio in Europe
- Identify and capture structured trade opportunities by proactively positioning Axpo both physically and financially
- Negotiate and conclude Gas Transport, Gas Storage and compex Gas Sales Contracts in cooperation with other Desks
- Coordination with other Gas Desks, LNG and Origination Team
- Ensure the further development of counter parties in the European gas market
- Full responsibility of the P&L of the Unit

**What you bring & who you are**:
- You hold at least an academic degree in finance or economics
- You have several years of experience in Structured Gas Trading and leading a team of traders
- You have a detailed understanding of gas markets in individual Eastern European countries as well as a deep understanding of the cost and valuation of transport and storage capacities
- You have the ability to understand financial and physical risks and migrations
- You possess motivating and inspiring leadership skills
- You speak English fluently, German is a plus
