We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Global Logistics Strategist to join our team at Semsysco GmbH.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing logistics plans, budgets, and procedures to maximize compliance with customer needs within budget constraints. This role requires excellent leadership qualities, strong communication skills, a structured and organized way of working, problem-solving orientation, decision-making ability, and the ability to work in a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement logistics plans, budgets, and procedures to maximize compliance with customer needs within budget constraints.
  • Exhibit thorough understanding of international Letters of Credit and other forms of banking documents and international shipments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence and improve supply chain performance.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in logistics/warehousing, with management experience being mandatory.
  • Completed training in logistics, business administration, or a related field is desirable.
  • Expertise in warehouse and transport operations, data analysis, mastery of Microsoft Office, lean management, and knowledge of WMS tools and IT interfaces.
  • German and excellent English skills (written and oral).
