Leading Finance Transformation Specialist

In this role, you will support the Vice President of Finance, Continuous Improvement, managing the Finance Transformation Portfolio. This comprehensive set of initiatives aims to modernize and streamline financial processes, enhance data accuracy and visibility, and improve decision-making across the enterprise.

About the Role:
  • You will assist the VP Finance in operational tasks, collaborating with various Functional Departments, including Magna IT, HR, Finance, and Magna Groups and Divisions.
  • Prepare management presentations tailored for executive audiences.

This position combines program management, project execution, and executive communications. You will balance big-picture thinking with meticulous attention to project details. Your Responsibilities:
  1. Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks to ensure successful outcomes.
  2. Track project milestones, risks, and key deliverables.
  3. Develop and maintain reporting dashboards to provide the VP Finance and executive stakeholders with up-to-date insights on project progress and outcomes.
  4. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, IT, and Operations, to ensure seamless program execution.

Stakeholder Coordination

  1. SUPPORT THE ENGAGEMENT OF STAKEHOLDERS AT ALL LEVELS TO FOSTER A POSITIVE CHANGE ENVIRONMENT.
  2. FACILITATE COMMUNICATIONS WITH PROJECT SPONSORS, STEERING COMMITTEES, AND EXECUTIVE STAKEHOLDERS TO ALIGN EXPECTATIONS AND ADDRESS ANY CONCERNS.
  3. ORGANIZE AND MANAGE MEETINGS, PREPARE AGENDAS, AND ENSURE EFFECTIVE FOLLOW-UP ON ACTION ITEMS.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • University degree in Finance, Business Administration, IT, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in Finance functions of large corporates or relevant experience in the consulting sector.
  • Solid understanding of project management approaches, with experience working on cross-functional projects.
  • Proficiency in project management tools, preferably Asana, and data visualization software (e.g., Power BI).
  • Strong skills in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and MS Teams).
  • Fluent in German and English (verbal and written).
