Business Development Director

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Director to join our team in Graz, Austria or remotely. As a key member of our Identity and Access Management Solutions (IAMS) area, you will play a crucial role in driving our business forward and expanding our presence in the market.
About the RoleAs a Business Development Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive regional business plan, analyzing market trends, and identifying opportunities for growth. You will work closely with our pre-sales and post-sales teams to provide recommendations for improvement and maintain an accurate forecast in our CRM system.
Key Responsibilities- Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets
- Develop and execute a strong strategy for a comprehensive regional business plan
- Analyze and identify market trends to enable a continually growing robust sales pipeline
- Successfully manage all aspects of the sales process, including building and presenting reports to sales management
- Work closely with pre-sales and post-sales teams to provide recommendations for improvement
- Maintain an updated and accurate forecast in CRM
- 3-5 years of experience exceeding sales quota as a Business Development Director selling software for a vendor in the Identity Access & Management, Cybersecurity, Physical Security, or Enterprise Software space
- BS/BA degree or equivalent plus relevant work experience
- Ability to effectively communicate in German and English, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards, etc.
- Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Proficient with operating systems, such as Windows, etc.
- Proficient with CRM software
