At Quantum Industries GmbH, we're revolutionizing the field of quantum cryptography with our cutting-edge eQKD technology. As a Field Application Engineer, you'll play a critical role in bridging the gap between our innovative solutions and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop expertise in quantum key distribution (QKD) and provide tailored solutions to customers.
  • Collaborate with customers and internal teams to understand their strategies, technology roadmaps, and industry trends.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in customer organizations.
  • Work closely with the Sales Team and technical teams to align customer requirements with product development and delivery.
  • Identify and pursue sales opportunities that expand the project pipeline.
  • Convert engineering and sales pipelines into successful engagements.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive proposals.
  • Ensure timely product delivery and support design and verification activities.
  • Provide expert customer support and technical advice.
Requirements:
  • A degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a technical role, preferably within the fields of quantum technology, telecommunications, network security, or a related industry.
  • Proficiency in working with complex technical systems, with a strong emphasis on quantum key distribution (QKD) technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive problem solver who is able to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in English is mandatory; additional language skills, particularly German, are advantageous.
  • EU27 citizenship is required for this position.
