Quantum Key Distribution Security Engineer

At Quantum Industries GmbH, we're pushing the boundaries of quantum cryptography. As a seasoned Security Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in enhancing the security of our quantum key distribution (QKD) systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement robust security frameworks for our QKD systems, ensuring alignment with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to design and maintain highly secure and reliable QKD systems.
  • Provide expert guidance on contemporary cybersecurity measures and best practices to refine our security posture.
  • Assist in achieving and maintaining compliance with relevant security certifications and standards.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate security into all phases of our product lifecycle.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in designing and managing the security of highly secure software systems.
  • Deep understanding of security architectures and defense strategies for security-sensitive systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of Linux environments and programming experience in languages such as Python or C++.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or related credentials are highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing security landscapes and resolve complex security issues.
