Air Traffic Management System Specialist

Frequentis Group is a leading international supplier of communication and information systems for control centres with safety-critical tasks. With over 500 customers in more than 150 countries, we provide comprehensive solutions for the aviation industry. As a Service Engineer at Frequentis, you will be responsible for ensuring our customers' systems are running smoothly without interruptions, which is essential for safe flight operations.
Key Responsibilities- You will be the primary contact person for customers at the vendor support level and analyze and fix system errors.
- You will plan and implement system updates and upgrades, taking into account the customers' needs and operational requirements.
- You will work on international projects in cooperation with subsidiaries and partner companies.
- You will conduct customer training both on-site and at our headquarters.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with various technologies such as Linux Red Hat, VMware, Ansible, Postgres, Jenkins, GIT, container technologies, Java/Groovy, Python, Kamailio, network protocols, and Wireshark. You will also have access to tools like JIRA and ITSM.
Requirements- You should have completed an education specializing in IT or network technology and have at least 5 years of professional experience in service or system engineering.
- You should have technical skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to work in a team and remain calm under pressure.
- You should have a strong interest in embedded systems, virtualization, network technology, and stay up-to-date in these areas.
- You should enjoy explaining complex solutions and working with different cultures.
- You should be proficient in English and willing to travel internationally (approximately 25% of the time).
We offer a competitive salary of €70,000 - €90,000 per year, depending on your experience and qualifications.
