About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled SAS Developer to join our team at Erste Group Bank. As a key member of our Credit Risk Calculations department, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining software solutions that support our business operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Cover Pool and Credit Claims team in analyzing new requirements and creating technical design specifications
  • Develop and implement software solutions using SAS and other technologies such as Oracle, Postgres, Python, and R
  • Participate in FAT and deployment, and provide support for operations and colleagues
  • Work collaboratively with IT and business colleagues in an agile product team to deliver high-quality solutions
Requirements
  • Experience in service or consulting area, ideally with international customers and relevant IT work experience or professional education
  • Strong SAS skills, including SAS DI Studio, SAS EG, SAS VA, SAS Viya, SAS Base, and SAS Macro, as well as SQL experience
  • Proven work experience in the field of banking, particularly in Cover Pools and Credit Claims, is highly valued
  • Knowledge of SAS execution design, Linux, and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is a plus
  • Customer-oriented work attitude, analytical thinking, ability to act independently and responsibly, team-minded, and communicative
