Master's Thesis in 3D EMC Wiring Harness AnalysisYour Responsibilities

Conduct simulations, analyses, and optimizations of wiring harnesses utilizing FEM simulation software, focusing on aspects such as electric and magnetic fields, voltage drops, temperature variations, and current density evaluations.

  • Explore various coupling paths between cables.
  • Develop a comprehensive model of the low voltage system, incorporating all pertinent components.
  • Execute simulations with varying parameters of the relevant system elements.
  • Document and interpret the outcomes of the different simulation scenarios.
  • Compare simulation results with existing system measurements.
  • All findings will be systematically documented into workflows and processes.
Your Profile
  • Currently pursuing studies in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related fields.
  • Fundamental knowledge of simulation and circuit simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB, Simulink, CST Studio, LTspice).
  • Understanding of electrotechnics and electronic circuits.
  • Collaborative spirit and strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to tackle challenging tasks and work autonomously.
  • Goal-oriented approach to work.
  • Proficiency in English is essential; knowledge of German is advantageous.
