Thesis Project: 3D Simulation of Wiring Harness for EMCYour Responsibilities

Conduct simulations, analyses, and optimizations of wiring harnesses utilizing FEM simulation software. This includes assessments of electric and magnetic fields, voltage drops, temperature variations, and current density distributions.

  • Examine various coupling paths between cables.
  • Develop a model of the low voltage system incorporating all essential components.
  • Execute simulations with varying parameters of the relevant system components.
  • Document and interpret the outcomes of different simulation scenarios.
  • Contrast simulation results with existing system measurements.
  • All findings will be compiled into a structured workflow and processes.
Your Profile
  • Currently pursuing studies in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related fields.
  • Fundamental knowledge of simulation and circuit simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB, Simulink, CST Studio, LTspice).
  • Understanding of electrotechnics and electronic circuitry.
  • Collaborative spirit and strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to handle challenging tasks and work autonomously.
  • Goal-oriented approach to work.
  • Proficient language skills in English are essential; knowledge of German is advantageous.
