Job Summary

We seek an experienced Head of Business Operations to lead our strategic and business operations. This role requires strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and manage diverse teams across various countries.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement operational strategies that drive growth and efficiency
  • Lead cross-functional projects and programs with executive management attention to scope, time, budget, and quality
  • IDentify and manage strategy processes and implement strategy into operations
  • Support in developing business models for existing and new business models
  • Manage communication, project progress reporting as well as decision processes
  • Consult business units on all elements of a successful operating model (incl. organizational setup, processes solutions)
  • Identification of key potential projects to CEO/COO and realization of initiatives and projects
  • Continuously strive for excellence by identifying and implementing innovative improvement ideas - this includes operational improvements as well as opportunities connected to digitalization
  • Sustainably manage change and transformation
  • Closely collaborate with business units and efficiently manage crucial interfaces between corporate/business functions
  • Develop competences and best-practice toolkits to succeed in major change initiatives
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in business operations, business models, and project management, preferably within the consulting or training industry
  • Any form of tertiary education (e.g., Master's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related fields)
  • Proven experience managing operations across multiple regions, with a strong understanding of the European and North American markets
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage diverse teams across various countries
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement operational strategies that drive growth and efficiency
  • Out-of-the-box problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making
  • Experience with financial management and budgeting in an operational context preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization and external stakeholders
  • Experience with operational technology/software (CRM systems, ERP, and project management tools, etc.)
  • Take initiatives and used to working independently in a matrix organization
  • Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English as well as German
