About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Director to join our team at Wiberg. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading our financial operations and ensuring the accuracy and transparency of our financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Manage cash flow and working capital to ensure efficient use of company resources.
- Coordinate internal and external audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Represent the company in financial matters, including negotiations with financial institutions and tax authorities.
- Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
- Establish and maintain a robust internal control environment to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Provide leadership and development to the accounting and customs teams.
Requirements
- At least 6-8 years of professional experience in a leading position in a comparable organization.
- Extensive knowledge of financial standards, including IFRS, UGB, and HGB.
- Demonstrated strong analytical abilities with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- German at native speaker level and advanced knowledge of written and spoken English.
