Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Director to join our team at NovaTaste. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading our financial operations and ensuring the accuracy and transparency of our financial reporting.
Key Tasks
- Financial Statement Preparation: Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of monthly and annual financial statements, maintaining transparency in financial reporting.
- Cash Flow and Working Capital Optimization: Conduct ongoing analysis and optimization of cash flow and working capital management to ensure efficient financial operations.
- Audit Management: Manage internal and external audits, coordinating effectively with various stakeholders to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Representation: Act as the company's representative to external stakeholders, including auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions.
- Insurance Management: Manage local insurance arrangements to ensure comprehensive risk coverage.
- Tax Strategy: Oversee the local tax strategy to ensure efficiency and compliance.
- Internal Control Environment: Establish and enhance a robust internal control environment to ensure strict compliance.
- Compliance Assurance: Ensure adherence to internal and external accounting standards (IFRS, UGB/HGB) and tax regulations.
- Business Partnership: Serve as a key partner to General Management and the global finance community, fostering strong internal collaboration.
- Leadership: Provide leadership and development to the Heads of Accounting and Customs.
Requirements
- At least 6 - 8 years of professional experience in a leading position in an organisation of comparable size.
- Extensive knowledge of financial standards, including IFRS, UGB, and HGB.
- Demonstrated strong analytical abilities with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- German at native speaker level and advanced knowledge of written and spoken English.
Compensation
The minimum salary for this position is € 4,738.94 gross per month on a full-time basis (38.5 hours). A significant overpayment in line with your qualifications and experience is a matter of course for us.
