Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Data Manager for Credit Risk to join our team at Erste Bank Oesterreich. As a key member of our Data Management and Monitoring team, you will be responsible for managing IRB and IFRS9 credit risk data necessary for rating and risk parameter models.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to Credit Risk Model Development projects by supporting data gathering and ad hoc data analytics.
  • Shape and improve the process for consistent data provision to the platform used for credit risk modelling.
  • Ensure effective communication and alignment with Business and IT stakeholders.
  • Work closely with Business Data Management and Business Data Quality Departments to increase data quality for Credit Risk Models.
  • Lead efforts to continuously improve data quality for Credit Risk Models while ensuring compliance with internal and external standards and regulations.

Your Background

  • Academic degree (preferably in Business Administration, Economics or Finance) and at least 3 years of working experience in Business Analysis and/or Business Intelligence in a financial area.
  • A good understanding of credit risk processes and relevant regulations.
  • Familiarity with SQL and a strong understanding of data models.
  • SAS, Python or Tableau as well as JIRA, Confluence and Teams knowledge are an advantage.
  • Fluency in German and English.
