About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Risk Specialist to join our Retail Risk Management team at Erste Group Bank. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for digitalizing our credit risk and lending processes for consumer loans, ensuring customer accessibility and transparency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Digitalize credit risk and lending processes for consumer loans to foster customer accessibility and transparency
  • Eliminate manual effort and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Optimize loan approval criteria to reflect our risk/return appetite and ensure a wealthy consumer loan portfolio
  • Improve the automatic processing and usage of transactional data in loan origination processes
  • Work in cross-functional teams to develop and prioritize product features and enhancements that meet customer-, business- and risk-objectives
  • Participate in industry conferences and events to stay up-to-date with emerging trends and best practices
Requirements
  • University degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management or related field
  • Experience in Risk Management and/or Product Management, ideally in the financial services-, payments- or e Commerce industry
  • Familiar with consumer loan portfolio management, agile methodologies as well as product development processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Fluent in German and English
