The Retail Risk Management team plays a crucial role at Erste Bank, tasked with the innovation and upkeep of risk frameworks, procedures, and lending criteria for individual and small business clients. This team actively oversees our retail lending portfolio, enabling us to seize opportunities while effectively managing risk.
Key Responsibilities
Streamline our credit risk and lending operations for consumer loans to enhance customer access and clarity Reduce manual processes and ensure adherence to regulatory standards Refine loan approval standards to align with our risk/reward strategy and maintain a robust consumer loan portfolio Enhance the automated processing and application of transactional data in loan initiation workflows Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and prioritize product features and improvements that align with customer, business, and risk objectives Engage in industry conferences and events to remain informed about emerging trends and best practicesRequired Qualifications
A university degree, preferably in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or a related discipline Background in Risk Management and/or Product Management, ideally within the financial services, payments, or eCommerce sectors Familiarity with consumer loan portfolio oversight, agile methodologies, and product development processes Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with a talent for fostering relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders Capacity to prioritize and manage multiple intricate projects concurrently Proficiency in both German and EnglishOur Offerings

The minimum salary for this full-time role, in accordance with the collective agreement and complete fulfillment of the functional profile, is EUR 43.554,00 gross annually.
