Salary

The gross monthly salary for this position starts at EUR 4,000 on a full-time basis, and we are willing to pay an appropriate overpayment based on individual qualifications and experience.


Job Description

This pivotal role as a Strategic Supply Chain Financial Expert will be part of our newly formed FP&A and BI team, tasked with transforming decision-making within Woom. You will partner with data experts to bring data-driven decision-making to the next level, providing insights and support on key financial levers such as cost of goods sold (COGS), logistics, and warehouse.

You will also support our product management and innovation teams by creating business cases that ensure long-term investments in our future product portfolio are backed by solid assumptions on future profitability.

In this role, you will be the single point of contact for finance-related topics across supply chain, product management, and innovation teams.

  • Month-end closing, forecasting, and budgeting regarding COGS for bikes and accessories, logistics, warehouse & fulfillment, and other variable costs.
  • Partnering with accounting and the D365 user community to ensure proper inventory evaluation.
  • Collaborating with FP&A colleagues to provide transparency on contribution margin development and sharing insights with the organization to enhance finance acumen.
  • Challenging business operations constructively, providing insights and recommendations to improve contribution margins, and monitoring risks & opportunities.
  • Improving data models for commercial steering with BI experts and data analysts.
  • Driving the automation of reporting and supporting commercial steering with BI dashboards.
  • Supporting transformation projects like introducing an integrated planning & forecasting BI solution.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Completed studies in business administration or economics, preferably with a finance specialization.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in Business Controlling/FP&A, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in creating new processes from scratch and enjoying working with large amounts of data.
  • Excel skills at a PRO level, some experience with PowerBI, and Dynamics 365.
  • Ability to work accurately, independently, and structured while being a team player who enjoys making complex analyses simple.
  • Very good knowledge of English and German.
