Senior Accounting and Reporting Leader

Job Summary

The Senior Accounting and Reporting Leader will be responsible for leading the Accounting and Reporting department, ensuring the proper execution of all accounting processes for 24 international entities in accordance with corporate policies and legal requirements. This role will also be responsible for maintaining effective internal controls and procedures, implementing and optimizing accounting processes and systems, and coordinating group insurance matters and tax topics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Accounting and Reporting department, including Treasury and Asset Management, with over 20 employees
  • Ensure the proper execution of all accounting processes for 24 international entities in accordance with corporate policies and legal requirements
  • Maintain effective internal controls and procedures in collaboration with the Internal Controls department
  • Implement and optimize accounting processes and systems as part of Finance Transformation Programs
  • Coordinate group insurance matters at the Division level
  • Coordinate tax topics in collaboration with external consultants

Requirements

  • 10 years of relevant professional experience in Accounting, including leadership experience, as well as experience in auditing firms and international companies
  • Completed degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
  • Knowledge of accounting and deep understanding of accounting principles and practices in a corporate environment
  • Experience with internal control systems
  • Practical experience in team leadership, development, and project management
  • Strong proficiency in SAP (S4/HANA), MS Office, and ideally ABB-Reporting
  • Strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and resilience
  • Very good German and English language skills (English is the corporate language)
