Financial Leadership Position

About the Role

This position reports to the Division CFO and is responsible for leading the Accounting & Reporting department, which includes Treasury and Asset Management. The department has over 20 employees and is responsible for ensuring the proper execution of all accounting processes for 24 international entities in accordance with corporate policies and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic and operational leadership of the Accounting & Reporting department
  • Ensuring the proper execution of all accounting processes for 24 international entities
  • Point of contact for auditors, tax advisors, internal stakeholders, and auditors
  • Maintaining effective internal controls and procedures in collaboration with the Internal Controls department
  • Implementing, developing, and optimizing accounting processes and systems as part of Finance Transformation Programs
  • Organizing Divisional reporting to the Group
  • Coordinating Group insurance matters at the Division level
  • Coordinating tax topics in collaboration with external consultants
Requirements
  • 10 years of relevant professional experience in Accounting, including leadership experience, as well as experience in auditing firms and international companies
  • Completed degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
  • Knowledge of accounting and deep understanding of accounting principles and practices in a corporate environment
  • Experience with internal control systems
  • Practical experience in team leadership, development, and project management
  • Strong proficiency in SAP (S4/HANA), MS Office, and ideally ABB-Reporting
  • Strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and resilience
  • Very good German and English language skills
