Job Title: Senior IT Support Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Support Engineer to join our Corporate IT Technical Support function based in Linz. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to our employees, ensuring their digital work life is seamless and efficient.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and respond to IT incidents and service requests through various communication channels and ticket systems.
- Evaluate and resolve technical issues, escalating complex problems to backend teams as needed.
- Implement and maintain leading-edge devices, including high-performance laptops, MacBooks, and workstations, to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Configure and deploy digital collaboration tools, meeting room equipment, and conference area technology to support internal events.
- Assess and address the IT needs of our employees, providing training and support to enhance their technical skills.
- Ensure accurate hardware asset information and manage the disposal of assets in a timely and secure manner.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement local and regional projects, such as deploying new client hardware and software technologies.
- Develop and maintain knowledge base documentation, creating and analyzing reports to support IT process and service management.
- Participate in IT projects for continuous improvement, leveraging your expertise to drive innovation and excellence.
Requirements:
- Completed IT education and relevant practical experience in IT support.
- Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction and service orientation.
- Experience in monitoring and tracking daily IT support business, with knowledge of Microsoft environments (OS, AD, M365, etc.).
- Basic expertise in infrastructure environments (network, etc.) and experience working with globally distributed IT teams.
- Fluent in English and German, with ITIL Foundation Certification a plus.
