Junior Strategic Procurement Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and driven individual to support our Indirect Procurement Manager in managing selected indirect categories such as mobile communication, fleet, travel, and more.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify improvement opportunities within different spend categories by conducting thorough data analysis and fostering strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Execute sourcing initiatives, leading negotiations to secure favorable contracts, terms, and conditions for our organization.
  • Work closely with the fleet team to develop strategies and actions to optimize our car fleet.
  • Develop the indirect procurement organization & processes and intensify the collaboration with neighbouring departments for a close alignment and view on vendors, spend and categories.
  • Monitor and control spending within established budgetary limits.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in Indirect Procurement
  • Proven experience in Sourcing and Procurement
  • Stakeholder management (internal and external)
  • Experience with Procurement systemKnowledge in Source to Contract processes
  • Problem solving and analytical mindset
  • Strong time management, communication, negotiation and influencing skills
  • An entrepreneurial "can do" attitude facilitated by continuous learning and application of appropriate "best practices"
  • Proactive outlook, with a focus on continuous improvement and growth
  • Project management skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Microsoft Office Skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Travel 0-10%
