Purchase to Pay Optimization Expert

We are seeking a Purchase to Pay Process and System Specialist to join our Global Procurement team.

You will bring valuable hands-on experience with P2P systems, particularly within SAP ERP-MM, along with a proven history of process enhancement and a commitment to continuous improvement. In this position, you will collaborate with various teams in Procurement and ensure the effective utilization of our Purchase to Pay systems. Key Responsibilities

Here are the main areas where you will contribute:

Your expertise in operational procurement, combined with system and process knowledge, will empower you to streamline purchasing processes across procurement teams while enhancing systems, data, and reporting. You will gain insights into our operational workflows and understand the specific variations within teams, as well as their interdependencies with other functions. You will provide training, onboarding, and process documentation for our Procurement colleagues and suppliers, ensuring seamless system operation and compliance with established processes and policies. Your role will also involve ensuring that implemented systems, especially new ones, are utilized correctly by addressing knowledge gaps and proactively managing change. You will update existing documentation to reflect new functionalities and improvements, effectively communicating these changes. Additionally, you will keep stakeholders informed about updates and share regular news on developments. You will define internal and external requirements by specifying needs, incorporating various considerations (such as sustainability), and developing category-specific acceptance criteria in collaboration with procurement teams. You will serve as the point of contact for Purchase to Pay-related inquiries during process and project discussions, explaining variances, improvement opportunities, and gaps. You will initiate and guide enhancements in partnership with non-Procurement teams, ensuring successful implementation by establishing acceptance criteria, creating test cases, coordinating test execution with Procurement teams, and providing expert input on cross-functional projects as necessary. You should have at least 3 years of experience in a role related to procurement, ideally with experience in SAP ERP-MM or S/4 HANA. Previous positions such as P2P Analyst, Procurement Specialist, or Systems Analyst, focusing on managing and implementing improvements, are advantageous. Experience as a key-user or trainer is a plus. Familiarity with reporting and analytics tools, particularly within the SAP environment, is beneficial. You should have a proactive team-oriented mindset with a strong desire to learn and stay updated with new tools and technology standards. The ability to identify business needs, align backgrounds, and effectively communicate them (e.g., user stories) is essential. Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to work, with the ability to extract meaningful insights from data, are required. Excellent communication and presentation skills, along with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and management, are crucial. Travel may be required up to 10%.
