Key Responsibilities
Here are the areas where you will make an impact:
- Utilize your operational procurement expertise alongside system and process knowledge to streamline purchasing processes across procurement teams, enhancing systems, data, and reporting capabilities. You will gain insights into our operational workflows and the specific variations within teams while understanding interdependencies with adjacent functions.
- Provide training, onboarding, and process documentation for Procurement colleagues and suppliers, ensuring seamless system operation and compliance with established processes and policies. Your responsibilities will also include ensuring that implemented systems, particularly new ones, are utilized correctly by addressing knowledge gaps and managing change proactively. You will update existing documentation to reflect new functionalities and improvements, effectively communicating these changes. Additionally, you will keep stakeholders informed about updates and share regular news on developments.
- Define both internal and external requirements by articulating needs, incorporating various considerations (including sustainability), and developing category-specific acceptance criteria in collaboration with procurement teams. You will serve as the point of contact for Purchase to Pay-related inquiries during process and project discussions, clarifying variances, identifying improvement opportunities, and addressing gaps. You will initiate and guide enhancements in partnership with non-Procurement teams, ensuring successful implementation by establishing acceptance criteria, creating test cases, coordinating test execution with Procurement teams, and providing expert input on cross-functional projects as necessary.
- Bring at least 3 years of experience in a role related to procurement, ideally with experience in SAP ERP-MM or S/4 HANA.
- Previous positions such as P2P Analyst, Procurement Specialist, or Systems Analyst, focusing on managing and implementing improvements, are advantageous.
- Experience as a key-user or trainer is a plus.
- Familiarity with reporting and analytics tools, preferably within the SAP environment.
- Knowledge of data and process analysis tools.
- A proactive team player with a strong desire to learn and stay updated with new tools and technology standards.
- Ability to identify business needs, align background, and articulate them effectively (e.g., user stories).
- Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to work, capable of extracting meaningful insights from data.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and management.
- Willingness to travel 0-10%.
