Transition & Launch team as a

Transition Engineer (m/f/d) - Remote work options available

In this role, you will contribute to the development of cutting-edge information and workflow solutions for our Diagnostic Imaging portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the transition of products from development to market launch.
  • Oversee modifications in a systematic manner from design to field implementation.
  • Serve as a liaison between development teams and regional stakeholders.
  • Participate in strategic discussions regarding new products and features affecting live customer environments.
  • Acquire in-depth knowledge of our product offerings.
  • Facilitate cross-integration and validation of products.
  • Manage pilot and demonstration sites for field testing.
  • Analyze customer requirements and translate them into actionable insights.
  • Act as a support partner during initial installations for key stakeholders, guiding the product to full deployment.
  • Establish and maintain communication channels post-launch.
  • Share knowledge across the organization.
  • Document processes from a service-oriented perspective.
  • Conduct technical workshops and training sessions for stakeholders.
  • Provide feedback on project activities to relevant parties.

Required Qualifications:

  • A master's or bachelor's degree with strong academic credentials.
  • Familiarity with Service Transition and Service Design is advantageous but not essential.
  • Understanding of healthcare and medical imaging standards such as HL7 and DICOM.
  • Experience in a clinical or hospital environment is a plus.
  • Knowledge of PACS/RIS systems is beneficial.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent presentation and training capabilities.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
  • Understanding of virtualization technologies.
  • Familiarity with (Linux) operating systems and networking concepts.
  • Knowledge of application containerization and orchestration is an asset.
  • Proven experience in managing complex projects in a tech environment.
  • Experience in requirements engineering is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Understanding of software development methodologies.
  • Familiarity with medical device regulations is advantageous.
  • Background in Product or Program Management is preferred.
  • Positive, proactive attitude with a focus on results.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Team-oriented with a commitment to quality.
  • Eagerness to learn and stay updated on emerging technologies.
  • Technical knowledge combined with a clinical background is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as needed.
  • Strong communication and troubleshooting skills.
