Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical support to users on-site, ensuring the effective operation of IT infrastructure and collaboration with IT colleagues.

Responsibilities

">
  • ">
  • Provide desk-side support to all users on-site, utilizing a ticketing system (Service Now)">
  • Operate and implement all IT infrastructure in scope, adhering to globally defined processes around Configuration Management, Change Management, and Incident/Problem Management">
  • Evaluate and manage HW assets, HW stock maintenance, planning, and HW purchasing">
  • Support achieving departmental budget goals at the site">
  • Perform administrative tasks such as managing invoices, processing new orders, and tracking inventory">
  • Maintain One IT Operating Model and apply it in daily work">
  • Interact with fellow colleagues from other sites/countries for knowledge sharing and gaining">

Requirements

">

To be successful in this role, you will require:

">
  • ">
  • 5 years of relevant experience or demonstrated technical knowledge">
  • Excellent English and German language skills, both written and verbal">
  • MSc Degree or BSc Degree or equivalent with relevant experience in Computer Science, Computer Science Engineering, Math, or equivalent experience">
  • Creative incident solving skills to position IT as a tool for supporting the business">
  • Ability to operate effectively in a matrix environment">
  • Strong customer-focus and excellent customer skills">
  • Strong emotional intelligence, friendliness, and respectful attitude">
  • Positive mindset, body-language, and vocabulary in all interactions">
  • Team player mentality">
  • Understanding of characteristics of the current IT environment and ability to actively identify opportunities for improvement">
