Master Data Architect for Strategic Business Growth

This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on our organization's success by designing, creating, and managing our data architecture. As a Master Data Architect, you will play a critical role in ensuring data quality, accessibility, and security while aligning with our business objectives.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for developing strategic plans that improve data integration, quality, and delivery in support of business initiatives. This includes defining standards, guidelines, and processes to ensure data governance and quality. Additionally, you will lead the peer review and quality assurance of project architectural artifacts within the Enterprise Architecture team.
You will also be accountable for simplifying our existing data architecture, delivering reusable services, and identifying cost-saving opportunities aligned with company policies and standards.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo excel in this role, you should possess proficiency in designing modern data architectures, concepts such as data-mesh, cloud services (Azure, GCP), real-time data distribution (Kafka), and modern data warehouse tools (Snowflake). Experience with database technologies like SQL, NoSQL, Oracle is also essential.
Familiarity with entity-relationship modeling, metadata systems, data quality tools, and techniques is required. You must be able to assess traditional and modern data architecture components based on business needs. Business intelligence tools and technologies such as ETL, Power BI, and Tableau are also necessary.
A strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, along with the ability to synthesize complex information and communicate it effectively to senior management, is crucial. Thinking strategically and relating architectural decisions to business needs and client culture is also required.
