**Job Description:**
The Data Architect Lead will play a critical role in designing, creating, and managing REWE Group Austria's data architecture. This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to synthesize and clearly communicate complex information to senior management.
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Proficiency in designing and implementing modern data architectures and concepts such as data-mesh, cloud services (Azure, GCP), real-time data distribution (Kafka), and modern data warehouse tools (Snowflake)
- Experience with database technologies such as SQL, NoSQL, Oracle
- Understanding of entity-relationship modeling, metadata systems, and data quality tools and techniques
- Ability to assess traditional and modern data architecture components based on business needs
- Experience with business intelligence tools and technologies such as ETL, Power BI, and Tableau
