Job Description: Enterprise Data Architect

As an Enterprise Data Architect at REWE Group Austria, you will be responsible for designing and implementing a robust data architecture strategy that supports our business objectives. This includes developing and maintaining data models, defining data governance policies, and ensuring data quality and security.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate data from various sources, develop data analytics capabilities, and provide data-driven insights to inform business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement data architectures that support business objectives
  • Develop and maintain data models, including entity-relationship diagrams and data warehouses
  • Define data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality and security
  • Integrate data from various sources, including cloud-based services and on-premise systems
  • Develop data analytics capabilities, including data visualization and reporting tools
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in data architecture and design
  • Strong knowledge of data modeling techniques and data governance principles
  • Experience with data integration technologies, such as ETL and data warehousing
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
