Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analytics Professional to join our team at REWE International AG.
About the Role:
As a Senior Data Analytics Professional, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, functionality, and performance of our Business Intelligence (BI), Data Warehousing, and Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) systems.
You will be responsible for designing and implementing test strategies, establishing QA awareness across our product family, and driving the test automation for our data platforms.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience with testing tools and test-automation frameworks in the area of data, as well as proficiency with data querying, modelling, and/or engineering techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement test strategies for our data landscape (Data Lakehouse / DWH) and establish QA awareness across the whole product family
- Drive the test automation for our data platforms: integrate automation frameworks and tools, creation of automated test cases together with the team, as well as setting up processes and tools for the generation, usage and documentation of test data
- Ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices in data testing and quality assurance
Requirements:
- Completed technical education with focus on IT (HTL, FH, TU) or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in the IT industry, in which you have gained significant experience with quality assurance and testing in the world of data & analytics
- Strong experience with testing tools and test-automation frameworks in the area of data (eg. Selenium, Apache JMeter, Tosca, Query Surge, etc.)
