We are looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at REWE International AG. This role will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our IT solutions and driving accountability within the team.

About the Role

As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will work closely with the development team to design and optimize our IT solutions. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that our software can be used internationally in the long term. You will also accompany the entire development process, from modeling necessary components to programming and customizing software solutions.

In this role, you will be responsible for implementing QA standards and guidelines, driving accountability with team leads and their teams to meet quality performance goals, and ensuring program standards are met on a week-over-week basis. Additionally, you will support product teams with QA, testing, and test automation, evaluate new tools and methods, and pass on your knowledge to colleagues through technical documentation.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have at least 3 years of experience in a comparable position, very good technical skills, and knowledge of at least one common programming language (e.g., Java). Experience with manual and automated testing, black-, gray-, and white-box testing, test tools and frameworks (e.g., SpringBoot tests, cucumber, appium, junit, restassured), and a good understanding of the software development life cycle are essential.

The annual gross salary for this position starts at €58,000, with the possibility of higher pay based on qualifications and professional experience.
