Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Technical Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at REWE International AG. In this role, you will be responsible for defining and implementing quality assurance standards and validating their correct implementation by our product teams.

You will work closely with the central QA and product teams to ensure that our software products meet the highest quality standards. This includes evaluating new tools and methods, participating in the QA community of practice, and elaborating solutions to tasks from the QA community.

Responsibilities
  • Implementation of QA standards and guidelines
  • Supporting product teams with QA, testing and test automation
  • Evaluation of new tools and methods
  • Participation and contribution in the QA community of practice
  • Elaboration of solutions to tasks from the QA community
Requirements
  • Completed technical education with focus on IT (HTL, FH, TU) or comparable qualification
  • Great technical skills and knowledge of at least one common programming language (eg.: Java, TypeScript)
  • Experience with testing tools and frameworks (eg. Cypress, Rest interfaces, Jasmine, SpringBoot testing, Pactflow, Postman, BrowserStack)
  • Good understanding of software development life cycle
  • Experience with agile development methods
  • Good team player with great communication skills
  • Ability to learn new technologies and tools fast
  • Self-organised, target-oriented, precise way of working
