Release Coordination Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Release Manager to join our team at ADMIRAL Technologies. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating releases for our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and coordinate releases for the release train, infrastructure, and special releases
  • Collect and communicate release content and progress from planning to successful rollout
  • Oversee all release content across all our products in close coordination with all stakeholders
  • Track new features and versions in close collaboration with our Scrum teams
  • Continuously improve the release process and develop our DevOps tool suite
  • Collect and prepare significant release and process KPIs for retrospective and iterative process optimization
  • Coordinate cross-departmental initiatives for product optimization from kick-off to proof of concept
  • Support the implementation and optimization of ITIL-based processes (event management, supplier management, incident, change, and problem management), including ITIL-based KPIs (e.g., SLA KPIs)
  • Participate in the introduction and maintenance of standardized monitoring and escalation management in cases of KPI threshold violations
Requirements
  • Varied years of practical experience as a Release Manager, technical project manager, or project manager in an IT software development environment
  • Long experience in external and internal stakeholder management (system management, data management, test management, software development teams)
  • Ability to keep the big picture in mind to understand the interrelations of our software articles
  • Proven experience in implementing and optimizing ITIL processes
  • Independent, self-sufficient, and sustainable work
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, system environments, quality boundaries, release processes, and process design
  • Knowledge of process automation and escalation management as well as monitoring systems and KPI-driven optimization
  • Good German and English knowledge, both written and spoken
