Job Description

**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Quality Assurance Specialist to join our cross-functional development team at ÖBB. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and stability of our Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) platform and the "wegfinder" app.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the entire quality assurance process for both mobile frontends and backend
  • Write test cases to document the expected behavior of the mobile and web applications
  • Hands-on testing across multiple mobile devices, platforms, and OS versions
  • Perform exploratory testing to validate the new features that will be included in the upcoming release
  • Collect bug reports, reproduce, and describe them in actionable Jira tickets
  • Support the release process
  • Propose and implement initiatives with the long-term goal of improving the quality of our products

Requirements

  • Previous experience in software testing
  • Experience with mobile apps testing (Android & iOS)
  • Good communication skills to discuss technical concepts within the team
  • Structured reasoning mindset and attention to details
  • Hands-on attitude, willingness to go to the root of the problem, and looking at quality as a whole, not just appointed tasks
