Project OverviewIn response to the growing demand for hydrogen in the green energy industry, we are exploring the potential of polymer electrolyte membrane (PEM) fuel electrolyzer technology. This project aims to develop a parameterized computational fluid dynamics (CFD) modeling and simulation approach to optimize the performance of PEM electrolyzers.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement a parameterized CFD modeling approach for PEM electrolyser simulation
- Automate CFD meshing and simulation setup for segment and full cell models
- Assess performance and electrochemical aspects using AVL Fire-M
- Compile parameter sets for AI optimization tools
- Document the work and present findings to the team
- Strong background in fluid dynamics, chemistry, and CFD simulation methods
- Basic knowledge of electrochemical analysis and numerical modeling
- Experience with CFD software and programming languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB)
