Internship in Loan Agency Operations (all genders)

The Loan Agency division serves as a central link between borrowers and lenders throughout the lifecycle of syndicated loans or similar structured financial transactions involving multiple lenders and finance parties.

Key Responsibilities

Assist senior loan officers in the closing and execution phases, ensuring successful implementation and post-closing activities of syndicated loans. Collaborate with corporate, project, and structured finance teams, as well as external legal advisors, on a deal-by-deal basis. Oversee various transaction stages from initial documentation to closing, managing loan utilizations, special situations, and repayments/refinancings. Track and disseminate periodic information undertakings in compliance with legal and other obligations.

Candidate Profile

Currently pursuing studies at a University or University of Applied Sciences, with a focus on Corporate Banking and Finance. Strong analytical capabilities, with a collaborative and team-oriented approach, thriving in a fast-paced environment while meeting tight deadlines, demonstrating a proactive attitude and quick learning ability. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly MS Excel and MS PowerPoint. Fluent in both English and German.

What We Offer

A stimulating and rewarding part-time internship (19.25 hours/week) for a duration of 6 months. Support for your professional and personal growth in a dynamic and engaging field. A guaranteed internship allowance of at least EUR 2,821.46 gross per month on a full-time basis (excluding mandatory internships) from Erste Group.
