Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Interaction: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, driving requirement discussions and shaping innovative solutions for HSIO IP development.
  • Consulting and Expertise: Offer consulting services to customers on suitable standard and circuital solutions based on their needs, covering a wide range of applications from automotive to die-to-die interfaces.
  • Representation and Architecture: Represent the company in various standardization bodies, taking the lead in defining architectural choices based on customer requirements.
  • Coordination and Support: Coordinate power and signal integrity analysis, provide integration guidelines, and offer support to customers in the integration of 3rd party IPs in larger SoCs.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: A university degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, with at least 10 years of experience in high-speed wireline architecture or high-speed wireline design.
  • Technical Expertise: A solid understanding of basic high-speed wireline concepts, including voltage/current mode drivers, clock-and-data recovery, FFE, DFE, CTLE, adaptive algorithms, and sampler sensitivity.
  • Wireline Clocking and Timing: Experience with timing and voltage budgeting, and a solid understanding of wireline clocking concepts, including jitter and phase noise specifications.
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to support and mentor younger colleagues in the definition phase of a project.
  • Additional Skills: Fluency in German, proficiency in Simulink/Matlab, and a solid network in standardization bodies are considered assets.
