Electrical Engineer for Power Semiconductor Development

Job Description: Staff Engineer Technology Development Low Voltage MOSFETsWe are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in Villach, Austria. In this role, you will be responsible for developing cutting-edge power device concepts for Low Voltage MOSFETs, working closely with TCAD and application experts to define technology targets, features, and integration strategies.
Key Responsibilities:- Developing new power device concepts and giving direction on how to improve product performance while meeting cost and quality targets.
- Working together with TCAD and application experts to define the technology targets, features, and integration concept.
- Collaborating with unit process experts to define unit process requirements along the technology roadmap.
- Supporting the ramp up and yield learning phase of new technology platforms together with process integration and unit process engineers.
- Exchanging regularly with quality and reliability experts to qualify and release new technologies for production.
- A university degree (Master, PhD) in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Material Sciences, ideally with a focus on semiconductor device technology.
- 3-5 years of working experience in technology development or process integration (WBG, CMOS), ideally for power applications.
- Excellent knowledge and experience of semiconductor manufacturing, especially front-end-of-line process modules, device physics, failure analysis, and reliability.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis and design of experiments.
The estimated salary for this position is around €80,000 - €110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We also offer a range of benefits, including health insurance, pension scheme, and flexible work arrangements.
