We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at AVL. As a key member of our sales organization, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of electric mobility.
Key Responsibilities- Technical sales for battery test systems
- Advising customers worldwide on questions relating to battery test field design
- Organization and implementation of customer presentations at our site
- Strategic expansion of our business areas through targeted use of our customer relationships
- Monitoring of sales activities (opportunities outlook) and regular reporting on the status of key activities
- Support of marketing and sales activities for effective market positioning
- Completed economic or technical-commercial education (University of Applied Sciences, Technical University or comparable) with focus on electrical engineering, information technology, industrial engineering or a related field
- At least 3 years of professional experience in technical sales
- Experience in battery development and battery ecosystem
- Knowledge of electrical engineering, energy storage and energy management is an advantage
- Strong communication and intercultural skills
- Willingness to travel up to 25 percent (focus on Europe, North America and Asia)
- Business fluent in English, other languages (German, French, etc.) are an advantage
