As a seasoned finance professional, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that Global Blue's global finance and business applications are continuously optimized and aligned with the company's overall finance objectives.

This position serves as a critical link between the finance, product, and IT teams, requiring strong analytical and process understanding skills, as well as excellent communication and diplomacy skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead requirements gathering and documentation of business requirements/specifications, and gain consensus on priorities for process improvements and resulting technology needs.
  • Lead and represent finance through projects from analysis, design, testing, training, and implementation.
  • Drive continuous process improvement and development of tools and systems enabling enhanced process automation.
  • Build and nurture collaborative business relationships throughout the finance, product, and IT organization.
  • Responsible for documentation of business requirements, test use cases, testing, training materials, and update/creation of application documentation for changes.
  • Responsible for training business users on standard processes and technologies used to execute those processes.
  • Act as an agent for change.
  • Involvement in further enhancements of system landscape, or other projects.
