About the Role
We are seeking an experienced finance professional to join our team at Global Blue as a Finance Process Owner. This role is critical in ensuring that our global finance and business applications are continuously optimized and aligned with our overall Finance objectives.
This position requires strong analytical and process understanding skills, as well as excellent communication and diplomacy skills to effectively collaborate with the finance, product, and IT teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead requirements gathering and documentation of business requirements/specifications, and gain consensus on priorities for process improvements and resulting technology needs.
- Lead and represent finance through projects from analysis, design, testing, training, and implementation.
- Drive continuous process improvement and development of tools and systems enabling enhanced process automation.
- Build and nurture collaborative business relationships throughout the finance, product, and IT organization.
- Responsible for documentation of business requirements, test use cases, testing, training materials, and update/creation of application documentation for changes.
- Responsible for training business users on standard processes and technologies used to execute those processes.
- Be an agent for change.
- Involvement in further enhancements of system landscape, or other projects.
