We are seeking a committed IT Support Specialist (m/f/d) to become a vital part of our innovative team. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver on-site assistance for the Global Service Desk, facilities, and corporate IT operations
- Provide Deskside and Level 2 support, along with other IT services at specified locations
- Diagnose and resolve technical problems for end users on-site
- Serve as the liaison between IT and business units at a local level
- Assist in IT projects as required by the organization
- Hold a secondary technical expertise (e.g., SCCM, Zscaler, Apple devices)
- Maintain internal user manuals, documentation, and technical resources
- Equip new hires with essential tools and access to IT resources, and manage the return of equipment from departing employees
- Oversee inventory, stock management, and ensure secure disposal of hardware
- Comply with response times for Level 2 support escalations within service level agreements
- Ensure availability of replacement equipment to meet service level agreements
- Occasionally assist in the setup and basic maintenance of IT infrastructure
- Provide coverage for colleagues during vacations or holidays
- Participate in on-call duties during scheduled out-of-hours IT upgrades as needed
Required Qualifications
- Generally requires 5 years of professional experience in IT
- Proficient in Windows client applications and Microsoft Office Suite
- Capable of effectively managing priorities in high-pressure situations
- Desired knowledge of networking concepts, including Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and VPN
- Secondary technical proficiency (e.g., Azure AD, endpoint security)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills - able to convey technical information to non-technical audiences
- Experience in a fast-paced, agile environment with a proactive mindset
- Ability to collaborate across all organizational levels
- Proficient in both German and English (written and spoken)
