About the Role:
Dynatrace is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Researcher to join our team. As a Cloud Security Researcher, you will be responsible for conducting independent research in the field of Cloud Native Security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify new research topics and develop prototypes in one or more fields related to Cloud Native Security.
- Define use cases and demos to connect novel research ideas with product components.
- Bridge academic research and commercial technology development by collaborating with our application security team and other internal and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to the global research community by publishing and disseminating research findings in journals, speaking and presenting at conferences.
- Actively participate in scientific and industrial cooperation projects.
- Guide Ph.D. and master students in their career path.
- Assist the lead researcher in defining and prioritizing the research roadmap.
Requirements:
- Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience and/or expertise in at least one of the relevant research topics.
- Good understanding of cyber and cloud security topics and their impacts on products and customer experience.
- Strong publication record.
- Great communication skills when it comes to presenting and discussing research results with stakeholders.
- Excellent English skills (oral and written).

Compensation and Rewards:
We offer attractive compensation packages and stock purchase options with numerous benefits and advantages. Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary for this position, which is 56,000 gross per year based on full-time employment. We offer a higher salary in line with qualifications and experience.
