Your New Role

In this exciting opportunity, you will be part of a pioneering team driving meaningful change in the energy transition landscape. As Renewable Energy Transition Expert, your primary focus will be on executing projects crucial to decarbonizing Vienna by 2040.

Project Highlights

  • Modernisation of existing energy production facilities (e.g. upgrading a waste incineration plant based on circular economy principles)
  • Construction of new alternative energy generation plants (e.g. biomass, wind farm, geothermal)
  • Hydrogen production or application (e.g. construction of hydrogen production facilities)
  • Combined generation plants for heating and cooling energy as well as electricity (e.g. either construction or modernisation of existing plant for combined generation of electricity, heating and cooling energy such as natural gas and renewable energy sources)
  • Waste generation and management (e.g. construction of recycling plants, plants for treatment of sewage sludge and phosphorus recovery)

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Design and optimize mechanical systems for power generation in green energy plants
  • Integrate innovative technologies into mechanical designs for enhanced efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and environmental regulations
  • Oversee construction and installation of mechanical components, ensuring quality and safety
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve seamless project execution and meet objectives
