About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Energy Transition Specialist to join our team in Vienna, Austria. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in managing risks associated with various projects within the decarbonisation space.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive risk management plans and strategies
  • Facilitate workshops to identify and mitigate project risks
  • Oversee daily risk follow-up to ensure alignment with established risk frameworks
  • Prepare detailed risk reports for project management, steering committees, and regulatory authorities
  • Travel to customer sites as required to work on designated projects
About Our Projects

You will have the opportunity to contribute to diverse projects aimed at decarbonising the city of Vienna by 2040. These may include:

  • Modernisation of existing energy production facilities (e.g., upgrading a waste incineration plant based on the circular economy)
  • Construction of new alternative energy generation plants (e.g., biomass, wind farm, geothermal)
  • Hydrogen production or application (e.g., construction of hydrogen production facilities)
  • Combined generation plants for heating and cooling energy as well as electricity (e.g., either construction or modernisation of existing plant for combined generation of electricity, heating, and cooling energy using natural gas and renewable energy sources)
  • Waste generation and management (e.g., construction of recycling plants, plants for the treatment of sewage sludge and phosphorus recovery)

What We Offer
