Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our finance department and drive our growth. As our CFO, you will be responsible for taking ownership of our finances, including accounting, taxes, cash flow management, and financial planning. You will develop and implement sustainable short- and long-term financial strategies that support our company's growth and propel us into new markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take full ownership of the finance department, including accounting, taxes, cash flow management, and financial planning
  • Develop and implement sustainable short- and long-term financial strategies that support the company's growth
  • Guide operational monitoring as well as the establishment and optimization of ongoing financial processes
  • Drive multidiscipline projects to achieve operational improvements
  • Implement cross-functional processes
  • Take a vital role in our upcoming Series B funding efforts
  • Be the point of contact for investors and ensure transparent, regular, and accurate reporting
  • Collaborate closely with the CEO and management team to make strategic decisions
  • Build and lead a high-performing finance team
Requirements
  • Degree in Finance or Business Administration (accounting focus)
  • Minimum 8 years of experience leading finance functions (VP+)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working for a B2B SaaS Scaleup
  • Proven track record of leading successful investment rounds, specifically Series-B
  • Financial modeling, budgeting, and cash flow management expertise
  • Fluent in German and English (German fluency mandatory)
  • Agile mindset and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Remote-first attitude and independent work ethic
  • Willing to regularly travel to the headquarters in Vienna

  • Fair compensation with participation in our PSOP
  • Remote-first work environment: work from anywhere within CET +/- 3 hours
