Highly Secure Application Specialist

We are looking for an experienced Application Security Analyst to join our team at Octapharma in Vienna. As part of a family-owned enterprise, we specialize in the development of highly pure pharmaceuticals made from human blood plasma.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assess and manage security and risk posture across our application portfolio
  • Support IT business partner teams in delivering secure business applications
  • Collaborate with security, technology, and application/platform teams to improve overall application security
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and execute projects related to application security

Your profile:

  • Masters degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 5+ years of professional experience in application and cloud security
  • Understanding of architecture, security frameworks, business processes, and organization
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English (preferably German)
  • Analytical, proactive, independent work style and strong self-organization and sense of responsibility

The minimum gross salary according to the collective agreement for this position is EUR 4,157.14. We strive to adapt your salary to your range of tasks and profile, which may result in higher wages.
