Assistant Kitchen Manager

Eram Talent is in search of a talented and experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager to enhance our culinary team. In this pivotal role, you will support the Executive Chef in managing the kitchen's daily operations. Your responsibilities will include overseeing kitchen staff, ensuring that all dishes are prepared and presented according to our high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef in crafting and refining menus and recipes.
  • Oversee and coordinate the activities of kitchen personnel to ensure a smooth workflow and timely service.
  • Provide training and guidance to kitchen staff on various cooking methods and safe food handling practices.
  • Guarantee that all dishes are prepared and served with the utmost quality and aesthetic appeal.
  • Monitor food expenses and portion sizes, making necessary adjustments to align with budgetary constraints.
  • Manage inventory levels and procure supplies as required.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations within the kitchen.
  • Assist in the creation and rollout of new menu items and specials.
  • Stay informed about culinary trends and integrate innovative ideas into menu planning.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Sous Chef or in a comparable position within a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Comprehensive understanding of culinary techniques, various cuisines, and ingredients.
  • Strong leadership and management capabilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Creativity and originality in menu design.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
