Kitchen Operations Leader

Eram Talent is on the lookout for a talented and seasoned Sous Chef to become a vital part of our culinary team. In this role, you will assist the Executive Chef in managing the kitchen's daily operations, ensuring that all culinary creations meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef in crafting and refining menus and recipes.
- Oversee and direct the activities of kitchen personnel, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Provide training and guidance to kitchen staff on various cooking methods and safe food handling practices.
- Guarantee that all dishes are prepared and presented to the highest quality standards.
- Monitor and manage food costs and portion sizes, making necessary adjustments to adhere to budgetary constraints.
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels and procure supplies as required.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations within the kitchen.
- Contribute to the creation and execution of new menu items and special offerings.
- Stay informed about industry trends and integrate innovative ideas into menu planning.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience as a Sous Chef or in a comparable position within a high-volume kitchen environment.
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional certification.
- In-depth knowledge of culinary techniques, various cuisines, and ingredients.
- Strong leadership and management capabilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Creativity and originality in menu design.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
