Job Description

As a Collaboration Platforms Specialist at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our collaboration platforms. Your expertise in implementing and testing backup and recovery strategies for SharePoint environments will be crucial in maintaining data integrity and business continuity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and test backup and recovery strategies for SharePoint environments to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
  • Integrate SharePoint with other Microsoft and third-party applications, and develop custom solutions using SharePoint Designer, Visual Studio, or other development tools.
  • Automate service provisioning, service management tools, applications, configuration management and maintenance tools using an agile-based solution development methodology.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in information technology, computer science, or a related engineering field.
  • Minimum of two years of relevant working experience as a MS SharePoint administrator, preferably in a non-cloud (on-premises) environment.
  • Experience in managing and troubleshooting high availability collaboration platforms used for secure hosting of sensitive data.
  • Practical experience in managing underlying infrastructure for SharePoint, including SQL Server and Active Directory.
  • Experience with IT service quality standard processes and service delivery (e.g., ITIL) and agile-oriented solutions for development, deployment, and operations (DevOps).
  • Experience with automation using PowerShell.
  • Excellent oral and written command of English; knowledge of other official IAEA languages is an asset.
