Responsibilities

As a key member of our Product Security Engineering division, you will collaborate with engineering teams to maintain a leading security standard in our offerings.

  • You will detect and prioritize security vulnerabilities, provide transparency regarding risks, and assist engineering teams in enhancing product security.
  • You will contribute to automating and scaling security initiatives across the organization, ensuring that software security is both effective and seamless.
  • You will oversee and advance the security strategy and roadmap within your area of expertise.

At Dynatrace, you will engage with cutting-edge technology stacks. Depending on your interests and strengths, you may focus on various domains, such as:

  • AppEngine and AutomationEngine - ensuring that the extensibility of our platform is executed securely and resiliently, while also considering developer and user experience.
  • Secure Operations - guaranteeing that our Cloud and Kubernetes environments are inherently reliable and secure for engineers to operate their services.
  • OneAgent and Extensions - leveraging your expertise in low-level programming languages and operating systems to secure the Agent-side extensibility of Dynatrace.

You can also play a role in shaping and nurturing the security community at Dynatrace - a dynamic and engaged group of individuals passionate about security.


Qualifications
  • Minimum five years of relevant experience as a Security Engineer or in a comparable role
  • In-depth knowledge of Web Application Security, Cloud and Kubernetes Security, or Secure Coding practices
  • Comprehensive understanding of information security principles
  • Ability to articulate complex security concepts and risks to a diverse audience of stakeholders
  • Familiarity with the security components of a secure development lifecycle (including threat modeling)
  • Experience with secure design principles, software development best practices, and security tools (e.g., SAST, DAST, vulnerability scanning, etc.)
  • DevSecOps mindset

Compensation and Benefits

  • We offer competitive compensation packages and stock purchase options with numerous benefits and perks.
  • Due to legal requirements, we must disclose the minimum salary for this position, which is € 56,000 gross per year based on full-time employment (38.5 h/week). We offer a higher salary based on qualifications and experience.
